The Rams traveled to Kreiser-Hallman field Thursday evening in Hummelstown to face the Falcons of Lower Dauphin. Central Dauphin came out strong and looked ready to play.
The Rams dominated the early going by controlling the ball and the ground game most of the half. The defense was stellar causing the Falcons to continually give up the ball. When the Falcons did get shots off, they were either wide or unable to get past the goalie. At halftime the score was 6-1
Lower Dauphin came out in the third quarter with a counter punch, took control, and was able to creep up making the score 6-4.
The fourth quarter looked like more of the same when Falcons scored early to bring the score within one. The Rams survived several late man down stretches and were able to execute when it mattered most winning 8-5.
Notable performances were turned in by Derek Krug scoring four goals and David DeSousa coming up with 19 saves in goal.
With the victory, the Rams end the season over the .500 mark at 9-8.
The Rams JV team had added another win to bring their record to 13-1-1 for the spring.
