Rams face tough 2nd round playoff test

CD RAMS FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT
2nd Round, District 3 – Class 6A Playoffs

Central Dauphin vs Manheim Twp Blue Streaks

Friday, Nov. 9, 2018
7 pm kickoff, Kruis Field at War Memorial Stadium in Lancaster

The task this week is to upend a team that’s on a three-game winning streak against our team over the last two seasons.

The #3 seed Central Dauphin Rams (8-3 overall, ranked 16th in state by MaxPreps) will face #2 seed Manheim Township Blue Streaks (10-1 overall, ranked 14th in state by MaxPreps) in suburban Lancaster.

The Rams faced the Blue Streaks in week #3 of this season. After the Rams went out to a 12-0 lead in the first half, the Streaks dominated the second half and left Landis Field with a 22-12 victory.

The Streaks got the best of the Rams twice last year, so the Rams are overdue to get a W against this pesky team.

LAST WEEK: The Rams piled up 42 first-half points on the Central York Panthers in a downpour at Landis Field on their way to an easy 49-21 first-round playoff win.
