The Central Dauphin girls lacrosse team continued their hot streak with a 15–9 victory over the Cedar Crest Lady Falcons. They improved their record to 4-1 with this hard-fought victory. The Rams were in control of the game from start to finish, winning 23 ground balls and maintaining possession of the ball for extended stretches of the contest.
After having to sit out the Red Land game with an injury, senior Marley Kostelec came back strong by scoring five goals. Senior Skyler Oken led all scorers with six goals, senior Erin Zieber added three, and junior Rylee Gabrielson rounded out the scoring with one goal.
With senior goalkeeper Caroline Reichelderfer out, freshman Taylor Dillman stepped up in her first varsity start and earned nine saves.
The Junior Varsity team improved their record to 3-1-1 with a 5-3 victory. In a strong team effort, five Lady Rams scored one goal in this contest. Riley Yonchiuk and Simmy Grewal each picked up five ground balls in a successful effort to control the ball possession battle in this game.
The Rams visit Cedar Cliff on Monday at 4 p.m.
