Fun holiday event coming to CD High

Submitted item

It’s holiday mayhem for a troupe of traveling actors performing Charles Dickens’ classic tale A Christmas Carol.

The actors playing Scrooge and Tiny Tim have suddenly quit, but the show must go on. The stage manager and prop boy have stepped in to fill their roles with only one small problem; they do
not know how to act. What is the cast to do?

Come see how this zany group of actors save the show and the holidays with Doris Baizley’s retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Performances will take place on Thursday November 29th, Friday November 30th, Saturday December 1st at 7:00 pm, and Sunday December 2nd at 1:00 pm. Tickets for students, seniors, and
alumni are $5 and adults are $8. All tickets are sold at the door.

The Sunday matinee will benefit Toys for Tots. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to receive one free admission.

There will be live music before the show and during intermission, plus concessions complete with Christmas cookies and holiday drinks.

It’s a fun holiday event for the whole family and a great start to the holiday season.

Central Dauphin High school is located at 437 Piketown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112. For more information and to see the cast of characters, CLICK HERE or email Tricia Larson at tlarson@cdschools.org.
