Fun in the sun? … There’s a buzz in the air as temps are predicted to climb into the 40s over the weekend and low 50s early next week. Plus, be sure to move your clocks ahead one hour SATURDAY night with the return of daylight saving time.
Prep that honey-do list … Head to the Pennsylvania Home Show time at the Farm Show if your abode is in need of repairs, renovations or simply a fresh look. The show runs through Sunday and there’s free parking everyday.
Music sampler … Two all-time favorites are scheduled to be on stage at St. Thomas Roasters coffee house this weekend – Sterling Koch and his amazing steel guitar on FRIDAY and the always entertaining folk music group Rayzen Kane on SATURDAY, 8 – 10 pm both nights, no cover.
And, live acoustic music by the DeAngelo Trio is being offered SATURDAY by the folks at Linglestown Gathering Place, which is located across the street from St. Thomas Roasters in the home next to the former La Piazza restaurant, 8 – 10 pm, free. Plus, check this out – this week’s free snackage is Rosemary crust pizza with Cremini & Merlot sauce and Brie.
Shopping opp #1 … First Impressions Boutique, Gifts & Day Spa in Linglestown is offering a free gift with $25 purchase of BareMinerals make-up or skin care. This offer is good through Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Shopping opp #2 … Simply Chic Consignment Boutique is holding a huge Winter Clearance Sale. The shop, which specializes in women’s fashions and jewelry, is located on Linglestown Road about halfway between the village and Colonial Golf & Tennis Club.
